  • How Fix Samsung Android App Installation Error (insufficient storage available)

December 21st, 2014 by admin No comments »

Alot of data from user will   increase in number of Apps and data on your Samsung and the device sizes being fixed the error of “Insufficient Storage Error” is becoming common with many users while installing Apps. If you are getting this error do check your Device Storage Data available and if you are having sufficient Storage space but still getting this Error follow these simple steps and get rid of the message and you can install the apps easily without any hassle.

This message often pops up when you Download or Transfer large size media files and Install Apps of large size on your android device.

Note: Check the Storage in Settings on your Samsung device and make sure that sufficient data is available. If no data is available you need to delete some Music, Videos, Photos or Uninstall some Apps to release some space.

How to fix Samsung Android App Installation Error – Insufficient Storage Available:

Download and install the App Cache Cleaner – 1Tap Clean from Play Store
It is a 2MB App so i don’t think your device will show the error in installing this app as well
now all you have to do is launch the app
It will automatically calculate the Cache Size of all the applications on your device and show you the list on your device
After the Cache sizes are calculated you will get an option to either Clear cache of all the apps at once by clicking on the Clear button on the bottom of the screenhow to fix insufficient storage space available on android devices
Or clear each Apps Cache separately by clicking on the Dust Bin icon seen on the right side of Each App Name
You can see that considerable amount of space is being freed and now you can go through with your installations
To make sure that your Cache does not get piled up again you can even Schedule Reminders to clear your cache to remind you when the Cache reaches a certain amount of size or to remind you in certain time interval, which is very easy as seen in the image to fix insufficient storage space available reminder in android
You can also schedule the App to “Auto Clear All Cache” at certain interval of time by clicking on the 3 dot icon on right side top of screen > Settings > Scroll down and click on “Auto Clear Interval” and set the desired time limit for Auto clearing cache in scheduled intervals.

Clearing Cache is the best way to clear memory as Cache is the temporary storage (caching) of web documents, such as HTML pages and images, to reduce bandwidth usage, server load, and perceived lag. A cached file stores copies of documents passing through it.

December 19th, 2014 by admin No comments »

SAMSUNG is getting a good share of the Android smartphone market with its new devices like the SAMSUNG G2 and as all Android devices are equipped to prevent App installation from unknown sources other than Google Play Store, SAMSUNG devices have the same restrictions on their devices which prevents users to install Apps or Games from Unknown Sources.

There are many Unknown Sources which are giving access to Apps present in App store like AndAppStore, SlideMe, Handango, and GetJar with even App developers like GameLoft. Apart from these sources which do their App installation themselves in case of smaller developers who offer Android Package (APK) file which should be downloaded and installed manually and for your android device to accept these files the option of “Allow Installation of Apps other than Play Store” should be ticked in the Security options of your Android device.

How to Allow App installation from APK files in SAMSUNG Android devices:

In your SAMSUNG Android device go to Settings

In the General Settings go to Security under Personal

In security settings page under the Phone administration you can find Unknown Sources(Allow Installation of Apps other than Play Store) – Tick it or Select it

When you are Selecting the above option a Pop up box will appear warning from doing so which should be closed by clicking on OK or Cancel

And below that you can find Verify Source (Disallow or warn before installation of apps which can cause harm) – Untick or Deselect this

After you have followed the above mentioned process you can now install apps on your SAMSUNG android device using the APK files available on the internet even paid or apps which are removed from app Store like the Flappy Bird which can be installed freely using the APK files.

In case you do not know how to install the APK files on your SAMSUNG Android phone let me explain the procedure in short: Download the APK files on your Computer, copy the APK file on your SD card from your Computer , download App Installer Application from android play Store on your device, in the application you can see the aPK files which you have earlier copied on your SD card, click on the Application file and the Installation will start.

Remember that you have to first follow the above procedure of Selecting the Unknown source option in settings to be able to help install the APK file as an Application.
