Answer : Hi Andy, Thanks for your question was sent on my email but I am sorry to late answering for your question. Do you know that the Android Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS 4.00) has a new feature which will enable you to switch the keyboard mode directly from the notification bar. This allows you to select the input method directly from the notification bar.
On the previous version of OS Android, you had to long press the input field to change the input method. But now you simply can click on the notification bar icon and select the input method notification.
So on this ICS system you can find the keyboard notification icon will automatically go away when you exit the text input screen.
